Updates

I hope this finds you warm and planning something fun in the sun!

I've been back from Mexico almost 3 months now.  This is the longest non-Mexico stint I've had in close to 2.5 years.  It's been an adjustment to say the least.  After trying to make this cross cultural, language barrier, long distance relationship work,  I called it quits.  I'll spare you the details.  Well, in actuality I am still not talking about it as more often than not I will burst in to tears.  But guess what?  This isn't my first rodeo.  :)  That doesn't mean I enjoy this stabbing pain in my chest.  I know I will survive.  I'm reminded that no matter what handsome trouble maker enters into my life, I have the best friends and family anyone could ever ask for! 

In other news:

Painting-   I'm back to painting a bit! Taking classes with Alexander again has been great!  So glad the painting gods hadn't left me. 

Jewelry- I am working hard making more lovely things!  As you know I love working with my hands and I'm obsessed with stones.  I had a trunk show this weekend at PDXChange on Mississippi.  I will be adding more inventory to their store next week.

It also looks like I will be vending at the Mississippi Street fair too!

Travel- Next up, ALASKA!  I'll be headed to the land of the midnight sun just in time for my birthday and solstice!  I'm pretty excited! After Alaska I will only need to go to Vermont and possibly N. Dakota to complete all 50 states! 

Let's go for a walk sometime soon!  I've been comfort eating so a little more exercise would be great!  :) I'd love to hear what's new with you!
