Home is where your yoga mat lands

I've been home for almost two weeks and have already gone on a rebound trip to the Oregon coast. It was great! I did my first headstand without a wall this week. That is very exciting to me! Guatemala was amazing in a different way than India. The daily routine included yoga 3.5-4 hours a day. Meditation from 2-4 hours a day and a couple hours of lectures on yoga, meditation and /or Ayurveda. I met more wonderful people from around the world and challenged myself to do things I would have never before considered. From a water fast to 4 days in silence. I spent 33 hours alone in dark retreat. A single room brick dome, without any light whatsoever, doing everything from brushing my teeth to yoga in complete darkness and silence. I also wrote a couple of poems inspired by things specific to this trip. If you're interested in reading them just ask.
